Billboards
Billboards are the most common type of outdoor advertising, and the option most people think of first when considering out-of-home advertising. They are located along most major roads and many secondary roads as well.
Truckside
Ads on the sides and back of local delivery trucks as they drive their normal daily routes. Large format, ads directly in line of view of drivers and pedestrians. One way to saturate the market…sometimes at a lower cost than multiple billboards.
Transit
Ads you see on the side/back of transit buses, on top of taxi cabs, and on bus shelters. Like all advertising, each type of transit advertising has advantages and drawbacks. Another good alternative to saturate a market…sometimes at a lower cost than multiple billboards.
Mobile Billboards
Specially designed trucks that have double sided billboards on the back. Unlike truckside advertising, these can be scheduled to drive any route you want, or parked in a specific location. Because they are dedicated to advertising, they are significantly more expensive than truckside advertising. For this reason they are usually used for short term campaigns and special events.
Geofencing
Geofencing is often used in conjunction with billboard advertising, but it can be and often is used by itself. Ads are displayed on mobile phone apps, usually within one or more specific zip codes, or certain distance around a point requested by the advertiser.
